This is pretty simple. Is Tiger Woods, the man who has been afflicted with off the course turmoil, going to past Jack Nicklaus's record of 18 majors won in a career? Tiger has 14 right now, so its 4 for the tie, 5 to win.

The reason I pose this question is because many "critics" have said that Tiger is coming to the end of his prime. That he is declawed, unintimidating, and essentially washed up. I would agree that he as given the "critics" enough fuel for the fire considering the way he has performed of late. Not only has he failed to win once this year but he has, in 7 tournaments, finished T4, T4, T19, T23, T46, WD, and MC. Both of the T4's were in majors, so one might say that Tiger is only playing hard in the most important events. Also, Tiger's struggles at majors include a 5 year shutout of the Masters and zero major titles since US Open '08, where he defeated Rocco Mediate in a playoff.

This is absolutely outrageous that Votto has not been selected for the All Star game. I honestly think that if an MVP for the NL were to be selected today, Votto would have to be considered as a top canidate. Granted Pujols is a annual selection for 1st base and will likely not be overthrown on votes for a while, Votto still should have been the number two. AS OF JULY 4th.

Stats: Joey Votto - Average .313 4th NL, Home Runs 19 2nd NL, RBIs 57 4th NL, Slugging .579 1st NL, Runs 53 4th NL, Total Bases 162 3rd NL, On Base .415 2nd NL

If this doesn't spell domination in a league that has been dominated by pitching (Carpenter, Wainwright, Josh Johnson, Jimenez, Gallardo, Garcia, Halladay, Hudson.....) I don't know what does. I understand that every team needs to be represented but this is unacceptable. Votto is not a one time All Star (like Aurilla, Hillenbrand....) He is a future star in this league and this is just the beginning. He has missed time in the past seasons due to off the field issues and has been overshadowed by Griffey and Dunn as well. Now that he, and Rolen and Phillips, are the vocal point for the Cincinnati offense, he is shining.

London Fletcher AS NEVER BEEN TO THE PRO BOWL.

This is truely beyond me. One of the greatest undrafted players EVER with little to show in terms of accolades.

Nearly 1,500 tackles in his career, 29 sacks, and 25 turn overs forced

NEVER EVER PICKED AS A FIRST BALLET PRO BOWLER.
New England Patriots: Scar Tissue - Red Hot Chili Peppers: Brady's knee has looked fine and it appears that he has gotten over the injury; especially with a clutch win over the Ravens.

New York Jets: Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix: Absolutely amazing what Sanchez has done so far. Hey Namath.

Buffalo Bills: Thunder Road - Bruce Springsteen: Dick Jauron is on the hot seat. After three consecutive 7-9 seasons, Bills fans want more so it looks like his last chance to make it real

Miami Dolphins: Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd: Did you see Chad Henne play? Yikes. I sure fans want Chad's injury to disappear.

This article shows indisputable evidence that a Stafon Johnson touchdown was incorrectly called on 4 and 1. Without the score, the Buckeyes would have won by the score of 15-11. Of course, this happened 4 minutes into the game so the outcome could still have been the same.

What do you think? Did the Buckeyes get cheated or not?

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/Good-morning-Buckeyes-You-got-jobbed-and-prob?urn=ncaaf,189880

The Bengals struggled lasted season at nearly every position but as the time winds down until draft day, the number one pick on the Bengals draft board seems to be Michael Crabtree. Although he is injuried at present, he still has the fundamentals and intangibles to be a great receiver in the NFL. One of his few flaws though is that he lacks the ability to create large separation with defender, giving the quarterback a smaller window to throw into. With time, he can improve his strength and conditioning and prove any skeptics wrong. Crabtree has some of the softest hands in the game and can come through in the clutch; just ask Texas. He is a five star player and his numbers at Texas Tech play tribute to his skill. Yes, TT was pass happy and the Big 12 had some questionable defense, but there is no question that his stats are second to none. Whether or not he puts up those kind of numbers in the NFL is a different story.

The past few years, Marino's pasing record has been under siege from the NFL's elite passers like Peytron Manning and Jay Culter but this year, Drew Brees came within one pass and 17 yards of breaking the record that has stood for two and a half decades. Brees just turned 30 years old and with expirence and a plethora of young, talented recievers, it seems likely that Brees will eclipse Marino's record.

Since his rookie year, his passing yards have increased each season with the exception of 2003 which was cut short due to injury.

San Diego Chargers 2001: 221 yards

San Diego Chargers 2002: 3284 yards

After examining the responses to the previous blog about the Sooners of Gators beating the Lions, it was clear that the Lions where heavily favored to win; for once. But what if the arguably worst pro football team played the arguably the greatest college football team ever? Because the Nebraska team played 13 years before the Lions, use your imagination and pretend that they are from the same year.

Nebraska season record:

Coach Tom Osborne: one of the greatest college coaches of all time.

Oklahoma St. W 64-21

Could the Sooners or Gators (assuming that their entire rosters is healthly) beat the 0-16 Detriot Lions. There are plently of future stars on the both the Sooners and Gators but could they match up against an NFL team as bad as the Lions?

Oklahoma: Sam is an eligible sophomore. He plays QB for Oklahoma. In just 2 years he has shown that he has the ability to take over games and become a superstar in the NFL. Sam is 6'4", 220 lbs and he runs between a 4.5-4.6 40 yard dash. His ability to throw his passes accurately and with power on it gives him the chance to be the #1 QB taken and maybe for the Lions the No. 1 pick in the Draft, top 3 pick

Comparison - Eli Manning

Reggie Smith (CB) - Smith is an outstanding athlete who covers a lot of ground in the secondary. He's a versatile defender who can play corner or safety at the next level, 1st rounder

Mark my words, San Fran is going to be a contender next year for the playoffs. I know that Arizona manhandled the NFC West but the 7-9 finish for the 49ers makes people take a second look. With some elite players like Frank Gore and Patrick Willis could definitely take down the Cards next year. Credit to Singletary and management for getting rid of Mike Martz. Seriously, who allows their quarterback to be sacked 3 times a game, ON AVERAGE.

I have just discovered the best way to eat pancakes so that you can savor the entire meal without the hassle of cutting, etc... The first bite that you take must be a square piece from the middle because it is easily the best, fluffiest, and most flavorful piece there is. Then, with an empty middle, it is easy to cut the rest of the pancake without trouble. You can even use you imagination put something in the vacant center (ie syrup and/or bacon) You may ask yourself why I'm telling you this revolutionary technique that will change the way you eat pancakes because it has been a really long day. (emphasis on period)
